24 Jan Homemade Dishwasher Tablets
Do you ever think about what is in your shop bought dishwasher tablet? Or ever wince at the cost?
I have recently started to make my own using natural products like bicarbonate of soda, citric acid, essential oils and doTERRA cleaning concentrate and I am delighted at the results.
My dishes come out beautifully clean, albeit tea stains remain a challenge. They are simple to make, and take little time to do. They just need about 4 hours to set.
I make 22 at a time using two ice cube trays – get silicon ones for ease of removal is my advice. I am also delighted with the cost, which comes in at £2.60 per 22 tablets. This replaced a popular ecological detergent that normally retails at £5.00 for 25 tablets at Tesco.
You can also add a spoon of white vinegar into the rinse section of your machine for extra sparkle, or place the skin of a squeezed lemon in the machine, somewhere secure.
Come and learn more about how to clean your home by swapping out harmful chemicals for natural products that are safe, effective and economical too this Saturday 26th January at Kinoulton Village Hall – it is not too late to book your place on Eventbrite. A way to clean-up that leaves a sparkling smile on your face!
