Lemon oil offers multiple benefits as well as smelling divine. Here are a few uses you can try yourself.

1 Drink a glass (no plastics) of warm water with 1 drop of lemon oil in the morning to naturally cleanse the body and aid digestion.

2 Rub a little  on your chest or diffuse to ease congestion & mucus.

3 Diffuse lemon to neutralise unpleasant odours.

4 Lemon makes a great all-purpose cleaner- mix 5 drops of lemon oil with water and distilled vinegar to cleanse and purify surfaces. It is particularly good  on glass, and stainless steel, but cleanses most surfaces. (Vinegar is not suitable for granite, marble and stone surfaces.)

5 Apply over the bridge of the nose or inhale to tackle a runny nose and allergies. Take 2 to 4 drops with lavender & peppermint in a glass of water or capsule for allergy relief.

6 If you suffer from kidney stones try lemon oil diluted with fractionated coconut oil and apply over the kidney area, add a heat pack for extra impact. Or ingest a few drops in a capsule to help break up stones.

7 Lemon oil is also great at helping relieve oedema and water retention. Take a few drops in a capsule, glass of water or massage into legs and the bottoms of the feet.

9 Lemon oil acts as an effective degreaser. Sticky finger marks on leather and furniture can be simply removed with 10-15 drops mixed with water in a glass spray bottle. Add a few drops of olive oil to turn it into a lovely polish suitable for leather and wood.
